About
Photographer? Artist?
Perhaps. But above all, someone who observes the world.
I have been practicing photography for over fifty years. A lifetime spent observing, framing, waiting. I cannot fully explain why I love photography, but I know what happens when my eye is behind the viewfinder: the rhythm of the world slows down, details become essential, and what seemed ordinary reveals another dimension.
There is a unique moment when an instant is captured and then fixed on a surface. A paradox unique to photography: at the precise moment of the shutter release, the photographer never fully knows what they have just captured. The image is revealed later, sometimes faithful to the intention, sometimes unexpected, but always carrying its own emotional truth.
My professional journey began in 2008. Over the years, I have explored portraiture, architecture, and the human presence through light and shadow. Each experience has refined my sensitivity to composition, silence, and atmospheres.
Today, my work focuses on architecture and black and white photography. I am drawn to lines, volumes, contrasts, and the silent poetry of urban spaces. What interests me is not simply what a place shows, but what it makes us feel.
Each image offered as a limited edition Fine Art print is the result of this long journey, carefully composed, refined, and then materialized through a museum-quality print made in my workshop in Marseille. Each print is signed, numbered, and produced in strictly limited editions.
For me, photography is not just about what is shown. It also lies in what remains: the trace of an instant, the emotion that continues to exist beyond the frame.
